Deck the Halls 2011

The Halls are finally decked, and I'm  pooped!   Mr. and Mrs. Clause, with their waving hands, and lite-up faces, once again take center stage adorning the bay window, awaiting the kiddies oohs and  ahhhs.   Once again, I have managed to show little restraint, decorating the Christmas tree, with its fully loaded branches doing their darn est to endure the weight of a Mad Collector's 30 year ornament collection.  The fireplace mantle is draped with garland, stuffed with embellishments,  and aglow with frosty pine cone lights.  During the Christmas Season, the cardinal red table cloth dresses the formal dining table, as it has done for years.  It's my  favorite decor of Christmas.  Centered on the table is a spread of greenery,  accompanied by a collection of candles and porcelain birds.

Well, we did it!  Another year of,  Decking The Halls!  Hoping yours was as exhausting and memorable as mine!  Now, back to the hustle & bustle of finding perfect gifts, & finalizing the Christmas Dinner Menu.....

THE INSPIRATION FOR.......BELLA K ROSE

The title BELLA  K ROSE  was inspired by the names of four women in my family,   ISABELLA,  ARBEL,  KATIE and ROVELLA.  I didn't necessarily know them all, but have come to admire, love and respect them through  genealogy research and personal relationships.

Isabella was my 4th-grandma,  born around 1840's.  Arbel was my 2nd-grandma, born about  1890's. Her daughter was Katie.   Katie was my mother's mom,  Rovella  (Rose).

Since Isabella and Arbel share a similar sound, thus came forth the name BELLA.  The letter "K" represents  Grandma Katie, and  last but not least,  MY MOM  Rovella, also known as (ROSE)
SOoooo.......there you have it!......BELLA  K   ROSE
